Buddhist Jewels



New t shirts from Bodhicitta Tees. Common symbols in Tibetan, Indian, and Chinese art, and that of the other Buddhist countries precious jewels representing some of the 7 precious possesions of the chakravartin, or “on for whom the wheel of dharma is turning”. Shakyamuni Buddha is referred to as a chakravartin.
Above, counter-clockwise from top left - top and bottom left images are 2 versions of the earrings of the Precious Queen. Bottom right is the square-shaped earrings of the Precious Minister. Top tigh is a stylized Triple Jewel, representing the three jewels of Buddhism, the Buddha, the Sangha, and the Dharma.
